Launched in 2023, Handmade Arcade’s BIPOC Maker Accelerator program is dedicated to empowering BIPOC makers with financial support, exposure, mentorship, and connections to help them thrive in the region’s vibrant craft and maker community.
Program Goals:
- Financial Support: Provide funding to help participants showcase their work at Handmade Arcade’s Holiday Market.
- Amplify Visibility: Promote participants’ work through targeted and extensive marketing to Handmade Arcade’s audiences.
- Entrepreneurial Training: Offer personalized creative business training led by BIPOC entrepreneurial experts through workshops, coaching, and consulting.
- Community Building: Foster genuine, lasting relationships with BIPOC makers to ensure their continued success.
