At Pittsburgh Latino Magazine, we couldn’t be more excited to highlight the incredible talent and dedication of our Latino community in the “Best of Pittsburgh 2024” awards. Voting broke records, with more than 25,000 people participating to select the best in each category. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees who represent the best of our culture in this vibrant city!

Here we share the Latinos featured in different categories:


Best Arepa:  

WINNER: Arepittas (428 Cherry Way, Downtown) 
2nd place: Cilantro y Ajo  
3rd place: Colombian Spot  

Best Latin Restaurant:  

WINNER: Arepittas

3rd place: Secretos de Mis Abuelos  

Best Margarita:  

WINNER: Round Corner Cantina / Esquina Cantina (3720 Butler St., Lawrenceville)  
2nd place: Tepache Mexican Kitchen & Bar  

Best Chef:  

2nd place: Jamilka Borges (Lilith)  

Best Mexican Restaurant:  

WINNER: Totopo (660 Washington Rd., Mt Lebanon)  
2nd place: El Campesino  

Best Taco:  

2nd place: Las Palmas  
3rd place: Duo’s Taqueria  

Best Vegetarian:  

2nd place: Mami’s Bakes  

Best Woman Owned Business:  

WINNER: Clementina Soy Wax Candles  

Best Street Artist:  

WINNER: Max Gonzales  

Best International/World Music Artist/Group:  

3rd place: Timbeleza
