The City of Pittsburgh will celebrate a major sports milestone this Thursday, December 4, as officials host a public rally honoring the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC for securing their first-ever USL Championship title.

The celebration will take place at 12:00 p.m. outside 414 Grant Street, where fans can hear remarks from team members, city leaders, and club representatives. Following the rally, attendees will have the opportunity to take photos with both the USL Championship Trophy and the Conference Cup from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

To accommodate the event, the city has announced temporary traffic adjustments. Grant Street between Fourth and Forbes avenues will be closed from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Detours will be in place at Boulevard of the Allies and Third Avenue, while Fourth Avenue will remain open for cross traffic.

The City encourages residents, supporters, and families to plan ahead and join in celebrating this historic win for the Riverhounds and Pittsburgh’s sports community.
