Have you always wanted to become a mentor but did not have a lot of time in your busy schedule? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! The Hispanic Chamber, in collaboration with the Carnegie Mellon Hispanic Student Groups, is seeking mentors for our Entradas Mentoring Program.

With a time commitment of 5-10 hours over a three-month period, mentors will meet one-on-one with a CMU Graduate Student to provide support and guidance to assist students in developing their career goals. Participants will attend a complimentary networking event and Mentors will receive the resumes of all mentee participants following the closing of the program.
Modeled after the PA Women Work’s “3 Cups of Coffee” program, the goal of Entradas is to provide nurturing relationships, foster connectivity, and to improve professional outcomes for students.
Applications are due February 10. The program consists of:
- Three one-on-one mentor/mentee meetings (virtual or in person)
- Networking Event Attendance
- Short entry and exit surveys
- Program runs from February 17th until April 25th
