Casa San José’s DE-ICE Ball: A Night of Community and Support

Casa San José is hosting The DE-ICE Ball, a fundraiser to support their Bond Fund, on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Temple Sinai (5505 Forbes Ave., Pittsburgh, PA). The event aims to raise critical funds to help cover the costs of immigration bonds, which can often reach thousands of dollars. These bonds are necessary to secure the release of individuals detained during immigration proceedings, allowing them to reunite with their families while navigating the legal system.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly to Casa San José’s Bond Fund, which assists community members in overcoming financial barriers to release. The organization emphasizes that these funds provide individuals with the opportunity to address their legal cases outside of detention.

The DE-ICE Ball offers an opportunity for community members to come together in support of a local initiative addressing a broader national issue. Those interested in attending or contributing can RSVP or donate through Casa San José’s website or contact information.
