The Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (PMAHCC) is now accepting applications for a new eight-week hybrid English program designed to help Latino entrepreneurs communicate with greater confidence in business settings.
The program focuses on practical, business-related English skills that participants can use when communicating with customers, attending networking events, pursuing financing and developing business opportunities. It is designed to help entrepreneurs feel more comfortable telling their business story, asking questions and pursuing new opportunities in English.
This opportunity is open to entrepreneurs who own a business or are actively preparing to start one, speak Spanish or Portuguese as their native language, want to communicate more confidently in English, and are committed to completing the full eight-week program.
Full tuition scholarships are available to both PMAHCC and non-PMAHCC entrepreneurs through a grant from the Duquesne University SBDC through the PA Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED).
The program has a stated value of $3,000 per participant, with full tuition scholarships provided.
