Time is running out to apply for the City of Pittsburgh’s “Summer of Engagement” Mini Grants! With just two weeks left before the April 30 deadline, residents are encouraged to submit their applications for a chance to receive $1,500 to host interactive events that help shape the city’s future.
The initiative supports community-driven activities that will inform Pittsburgh’s first-ever comprehensive plan, guiding the city’s development through 2050. Eligible events must take place this summer and include fun, participatory planning elements.
The city particularly encourages applications from groups engaging underrepresented communities and welcomes youth leaders aged 14 and older to apply. Applicants must attend one of two virtual info sessions held on March 24 or April 7.
“This is a great opportunity for residents to have a direct impact on Pittsburgh’s future while bringing their neighborhoods together,” said a city spokesperson.
